In 1983, Venable launched the renowned K-Factor Software™, still in use by many instrument manufacturers today. Venable has elevated the original software with its innovative Stability Analysis program. Go straight from measurement to design with Stability Analysis, as its dynamic functionality eliminates lengthy manual value calculations and guesswork. Compensation amplifier synthesis capability, or coefficients for digital power supplies, enables user to achieve the exact feedback loop bandwidth and phase margin desired on the first try.
Venable's K Factor Analysis allows the circuit designer to choose a desired result, i.e. a particular loop crossover frequency and phase margin.
The software also contains a simple spice-like modeling program for modeling the AC frequency response of circuits. Model results and test results are in the same format and can be displayed simultaneously for easy comparison.
Venable's Stability Analysis Software provides the flexibility to view data as Bode or Nyquist plots, and save or print them easily.
Save data in tab delimited text file format for easy import or export into other applications such as Matlab™ or Excel™ for number crunching off line.
Venable's modular architecture supports instrument scalability, protecting your investment.
Based in Austin, Texas, USA, Venable Instruments provides direct support for technical and application questions, calibrations, and repairs.
Venable Instruments rents FRAs on a monthly basis and supports a lease to own program.
Venable provides a standard one year warranty which covers any defects in material or workmanship on new instruments. Optional 3 and 5 year extended warranties are available.
Venable is one of the only instrument manufacturers that offers telephone support (during normal US business hours) and by email with our experienced team of engineers
Learn MoreOur customers see us as an extension of their own engineering teams, which sometimes means filling in internal resource gaps
Learn MoreIf we can’t resolve it by telephone or email, a Return to Manufacturer Authorization (RMA) will be promptly provided.
Learn MoreCalibration is essential for confidence in your instrument’s accuracy, so you can be assured that the reading you obtain from your instrument is accurate.
Learn MoreVenable provides scalable energy storage and power systems test solutions for precise voltage, current, and frequency measurements, partnering with engineers to ensure battery and power systems around the world will meet stringent field performance demands.
