The purpose of injection transformers is to accurately couple an oscillator signal into a feedback loop with minimum distortion and / or capacitive coupling. The transformers are designed to have low magnetizing current and flat coupling over the specified frequency ranges. For additional information about Venable's Bode Boxes, check out our blog post Bode Box Verification Test.
From DC to 2.2MHz (LF Bode) or 1kHz to 40MHz (GP Bode), Venable's Bode boxes provide isolation up to 1.4kV.
The output impedance over the specified ranges is less than 10 ohms, except for the LF Bode Box, which has a constant output impedance of 100 ohms.
