Isolation (Injection) Transformers

Bode Boxes from Venable permit making measurements where direct to FRA connections are not feasible.

The purpose of injection transformers is to accurately couple an oscillator signal into a feedback loop with minimum distortion and / or capacitive coupling. The transformers are designed to have low magnetizing current and flat coupling over the specified frequency ranges.

High Performance

From DC to 2.2MHz (LF Bode) or 1kHz to 40MHz (GP Bode), Venable's Bode boxes provide isolation up to 1.4kV.

Low Output Impedance

Low Output Impedance

The output impedance over the specified ranges is less than 10 ohms, except for the LF Bode Box, which has a constant output impedance of 100 ohms.

Flat Coupling

Flat Coupling

The transformer is designed to have flat coupling over the specified frequency range.
