Deep Dive into the Math Tool Function

By Rajab Legnain - March 01, 2023

The Math Tool within Venable Stability Analysis Software is one of the most useful features, used to mathematically manipulate data sets.  For example, the Math Tool can help to predict the overall feedback loop transfer function for synthesized compensators, and remove measured parasitics from RLC measurement.

In this video Rajab Legnain, Software Developer at Venable Instruments, will walk through the calculation of the loop gain transfer function for the DC/DC Converter TPS54310EVM board using measured transfer functions of  feedback gain and open loop gain.  The predicted loop gain will be compared to the actual loop gain transfer function to validate the results.  All measured transfer function datasets are stored in a Venable file.
